Today marked another important milestone for the Occupy Movement. Protesters along the west coast took to the waterfront this morning. Portland, San Diego, Los Angeles, Oakland, Tacoma, Seattle & other port cities were disrupted to varying degrees. Once again there were many arrests and violent confrontations. Southern California saw an increased amount of police and victory was claimed on both sides. For protesters, the point was to continue the OWS discussion by effecting the ports (not stopping them) while promising future demonstrations.
